Having had approval from the Grand Master, Thomas Dundas Earl of Zetland Baron Dundas, we received our 'Charter' dated 12th March 1866.

We will be celebrating this event at our Sesquicentannial meeting (150th Anniversary) on Wednesday 11th May 2016 with the demonstration of a Masonic meeting being held in the 'Black Country' in 1759.  The Black Country Heritage Lodge No.9702 will be performing the demonstration at with we have been advised to have loose change in our pockets to pay fines meted out during the ceremony.  I understand the event will be an eveing of humour while retaining the dignaty and principals of Freemasonry.

We are one of the oldest lodges in Berkshire. this will be an evening not to be missed.

The Reading half marathon is to be held on Sunday 3rd April at which we, traditionally, provide stewards to support this event.  If you are free please contact Stan for guidance and to register your interest.

We are hoping to fill a table at the Bullbrook Lodge Ladies evening on Saturday 16th April.  If you would like to join Philip and Larry please contact Phillip ASAP.
